Beginner Tango Class - Tuesdays 6pm - Join any week! All are welcome. No partner necessary. Friendly and fun. If you don't have dance shoes, socks are okay in the beginning, we can help you find shoes online. For beginners or students that want to work on tango fundamentals.

Intermediate Tango Class - Tuesdays 7pm - For those with a little bit of tango experience. Join any week, no partner necessary. All are welcome, you can dance whichever role you prefer. Monthly tango themes, with new techniques and practice patterns. Each technique demonstrated to varying dance levels.

$10 per class - but intermediate students can attend the Beginner class for free, to review and/or help out new students, or to learn a new role.

Friday Night Practica - Fridays, 6-8pm - What is a practica? A super fun, informal event where, you guessed it, we practice tango! Beginner friendly, you can dance with new and experienced tango dancers in the community, in a friendly, relaxed, and learning atmosphere. Make new friends while dancing tango.

What is Argentine Tango?Argentine Tango is a passionate and improvisational dance that originated in the working-class neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. It is known for its close embrace, intricate footwork, and deep connection between partners.

Do I need a partner to start Dancing Tango?You do not need a partner while learning to dance tango. In our classes teachers and students rotate partners often so you can get the most out of our learning experience, meet new friends, and enjoy the social aspect of tango. you can however choose not to rotate in class if you prefer to learn with your partner one on one.

What should I wear to a Tango class?Wear comfortable clothes that allow ease of movement. Women often wear skirts or dresses to showcase leg movements, and men typically wear dress pants. Bring comfortable dance shoes with suede or leather soles for better traction. Keep Hygiene in mind, we dance close to one another regularly. Clean Body and Breath may get you more dances.

Can anyone learn Tango, regardless of age or fitness level?Absolutely! Tango is a dance for people of all ages and fitness levels. It's more about connection, musicality, and communication than physical strength. Adaptations can be made to accommodate different abilities. Tango at its most simplicity is walking in an embrace with your partner.
